I’ve been with Pasadena Highlands for 17 years and have loved it. Each resident feels like family to me since I’m so far from my relatives who all live in Santiago, Chile. Working at Pasadena Highlands has given me purpose and a sense of community.

Since 2011, my passion has been to be involved in life enhancement and activity programs for seniors. I believe activities are medicinal and I’m enthusiastic about treating seniors with the power of productive engagement. It brings me joy to see residents connecting and thriving.
Brodey DeBorde - Executive Director
I’m originally from Hood River, Oregon and have been in the senior living industry for 28 years. It’s an honor to serve the residents, families, and staff. It is important to me that when you visit Pasadena Highlands, you feel a great sense of community and energy. I promote an environment where residents receive exceptional services and staff are supported and empowered to provide them. I’m married to my wife, Sarah, and have 6 kids, also known as the “Brodey Bunch”. I am passionate about family and enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
John Arbona – Director of Plant Operations
It’s been an honor to serve our residents at Pasadena Highlands for the last 14 years. I love what I do and enjoy bringing a smile to a resident when hanging a picture or fixing a TV remote control. I’ve created great friendships with our residents and they have become family.
Sanda Lee – Director of Assisted Living
My background is in Human Services and Health Care for over 20 years. I am humbly grateful for all the experiences I have and will encounter at the Highlands. It is my pleasure to be here and to be able to enhance the quality of life for every resident, as well as provide comfort and support to their families. I appreciate the opportunity to work in a familial environment where residents, families and staff are all striving toward a common goal. I am a local of the city of Roses, a mother of three and a passionate woman who loves life and cherishes humanity.

I worked in restaurants for years never really knowing who my customers were. Then I changed to senior living and what a difference! I love that I am able to learn who my residents are, what they like and build a caring relationship beyond a meal. I would never do anything else!
